4 main Factors in the OEC Rating Equation:
We evaluate startups using a precise formula that considers key factors like innovation, scalability, market potential, execution strength, and risk assessment. These metrics ensure a data-driven and strategic investment approach. OEC Rating uses over 16 variables unique to every startup, to calculate the OEC Rating.
Innovation Score (I)
Measures the uniqueness and disruptive potential of a startup’s product or service. Higher innovation leads to a stronger rating, as groundbreaking ideas have higher long-term value.
Market Scalability (M)
Evaluates the total addressable market and growth potential. Startups targeting large, rapidly expanding markets receive higher scores, indicating better investment opportunities.
Execution Strength (E)
Assesses the team’s ability to execute, including experience, track record, and operational efficiency. A high execution score ensures the startup can turn its vision into reality.
Risk Assessment (R)
Analyzes financial, operational, and market risks. Lower risk improves the rating, as stable, well-managed startups are more likely to succeed.
